We say: The new Apace features a softer section of foam that is placed along the outside of the shoe slightly ahead of the heel. This unique placement is designed for women, who tend to strike the ground more toward the forefoot. Another benefit of this design is better impact protection when you're running faster and landing further forward with each stride. In another nod to women, the upper features a narrower heel and a broader forefoot. Recommended for lighter, biomechanically efficient women with normal to high arches.

this is really a great running shoe. they are light weight and really hold up well through heavy use. they are pretty good for any type of work out track, trail, and street. they are awesome!!!.
