We say: With this update, Mizuno has taken a good shoe and made it into a great shoe. The most noticeable changes are found in the upper, which has been reinforced with flexible overlays that fan out in a finger-like pattern to provide a more snug fit in the heel. The Nirvana's full-length Wave plate makes for one stable shoe, and according to RW Lab tests, the Nirvana 2 is firmer than its predecessor. Recommended for runners with medium to large builds and lower arches who need good stability and plenty of cushioning.

This shoe is a great shoe for stabillity and support. I have had 2 pairs already, and in each I have got about 250 miles in them. I highly reccomend this shoe for any runner who likes to train in a heavy shoe, and then race in light wieght spickes of flats!.
