We say: With this update, Mizuno has taken a good shoe and made it into a great shoe. The most noticeable changes are found in the upper, which has been reinforced with flexible overlays that fan out in a finger-like pattern to provide a more snug fit in the heel. The Nirvana's full-length Wave plate makes for one stable shoe, and according to RW Lab tests, the Nirvana 2 is firmer than its predecessor. Recommended for runners with medium to large builds and lower arches who need good stability and plenty of cushioning.

Its a very good shoe. I just bought a pair, and I tried in a 10K race. Was great. Now I am going to try it al The Istambul Marathon on october 29Th.
I ran the Berlin Marathon with the last year Wave Nirvana and went great too..
