Runner's World Awards: Best Update

We say: An outstanding, lightweight, supportive shoe, the updated Axiom 2 uses softer rubber in the outsole, making it quieter on the roads. Brooks also placed grooves in the outsole of the heel to help disperse shock and added a new mesh to the upper that increases the shoe's support and breathability. There's also softer foam in the heel for a cushier, more comfortable ride. Recommended for runners with medium to lightweight builds and normal arch profiles or runners with higher arches looking for substantial cushioning.

Great shoes. I have been running about a year and these are my favorite shoes yet. They give me good stability and cushion and I have had no blisters or pain while logging 400 miles on them over the last 3 months. It will be hard to buy another shoe after running in these. They still feel good! Did I say great shoe?.

Great shoe! I have been a long time Mizuno fan but recently decided to give this shoe a try. I found the shoe to provide a smooth ride, with a great heel to toe transition. The cushining is much softer than what I was accustome to with the Mizuno shoes. The shoe is not overly heavy and feels fast! After 150+ miles, it is wearing well. I highly recommend it! .
