We say: With this update, Brooks has extended the midsole support on the inside of the shoe into the forefoot to better control late-stage pronation. The stability of the upper is also improved, thanks to additional overlays. Despite the extra support, the RW Shoe Lab tests found the Addiction to still be quite flexible. The shoe also features a flex groove in the heel to help isolate and disperse impact forces. Recommended for moderate-weight runners with low arches or runners who need a firm base of support for their orthotics.

this is one of the best shoes I have ever trained in. I used them in cross country and in track for training and they have held up to all the damage I have done in them. They provide great support and cusioning at the same time which makes a great shoe for a lot of miles. .

This is an excellent shoe for me. This is the only type of shoe that I will buy. I have worn this shoe for the past 24 months. At 245 pounds this is the only shoe that works for me..
