We Say: The new Percept is one of the softest shoes in this guide--but we didn't place it in the neutral-cushioned category. Why? Because the outer edge of the heel is beveled to slow pronation at heel-strike. Nike also built up the midsole, added overlays to the upper, and placed a plastic bridge under the arch. The result of all this: great stability. Recommended for average-size women with normal arches.
Wear-testers Say: "A comfortable shoe. I require a roomy toebox, and this shoe was nonconstricting while still being breathable." -Michelle Hill, 40, Allentown
"I'm normally not a Nike fan, but this shoe was great. For me it only needed a bit more midfoot support." -Krystal Thelen, 22, East Lansing

Very soft, flexible, plenty of toe room. They feel as good during the last mile of my run as the first..
