Runner's World Shoe Lab Test Results

We Say: The debut Asylum is not especially lightweight, and it offers good stability, but we put it into the performance category based on its look and feel. The shoe's minimal mesh upper and flexible overlays wrap the arch and secure the heel, giving the Asylum a snug, performance-minded fit. It features a plastic arch device for added support. Our Shoe Lab tests found the Asylum to be extremely flexible and relatively soft. Recommended for runners with normal arches who want a stable shoe for speedwork or racing.
