Runner's World Shoe Lab Test Results

We say: The updated Evolution continues to offer a great blend of cushioning and motion control. Thanks to Asics's new lightweight midsole material called Solyte, this version is a half-ounce lighter than its predecessor. It also features the Space Trusstic support bridge in the midsole for a smoother heel-to-toe transition, and the Biomorphic Fit panel that helps wrap the upper around the foot. Recommended for runners with average to large frames with flat arches who need a well-cushioned, extremely supportive shoe.

Wear Tester Reviews

Wear-testers Say: "I love the arch support in these shoes." -Amy Super, 25, Allentown

"No one feature stood out; instead, all the necessary components were there." -Stephanie Grosvenor, 24, East Lansing
