Nov 2005 Shoe Guide
We say: A supportive stability shoe, the 719 features Abzorb foam in the heel and under the ball of the foot for enhanced cushioning. Plus it comes with a plastic bridge in the midfoot to smooth out heel-to-toe transition. The outsole is bolstered with rugged carbon rubber in the high-wear areas (such as the heel) for better durability. RW Shoe Lab results showed that the 719 is one of the firmer shoes in this guide, so it's a good option for bigger runners with normal to flat arches or lighter-weight runners looking for lots of stability.
