Runner's World Shoe Lab Test Results

We say: Constructed similarly to the men's Atlas, the women's Isis differs in that it features a narrower heel and relatively broad forefoot. But like the Atlas it comes with firmer foam on the medial (inner) side to help control pronation. As is appropriate in a motion-control shoe, the Isis is firm in the heel--in fact RW Shoe Lab tests showed it's the firmest shoe in the review. However, it's relatively flexible in the forefoot, so it's a good choice for women who need a motion-control shoe but are tired of wearing clunky shoes essentially designed for heavier men.
