We Say: With this update, Asics has added more silicon GEL to the heel for impact protection as well as Twist GEL to the forefoot for a more efficient toe-off. The shoe retains the plastic Trusstic System, which helps with heel-to-toe transition, but Asics stripped away some of the plastic to reduce weight. The upper features smaller, more flexible overlays that will reduce blister risk. Recommended for runners looking for a cushioned ride who don't need much stability.

Is 3rd time I have purchased same shoe
far better than the last one more comfortable but shoe wears out at toe quickly I go thru a pair every 5mths and I only run 40k a week.

This is a great shoe, however the support in the upper insole around the sesmoid bone of the big toe wore out very quickly and I ended up with tendonitis from running on pavement with a lack of support there. .

It has taken me a while to find a shoe I like as much as this. Although this is a comfort sneaker I also feel it is quite stable. .
