We Say: This is Ecco's solid new entry into the running market. The shoe's best feature: The arch and rearfoot are supported by a two-tiered carbon-fiber bridge that extends underneath the forefoot for added stability. The midsole combines three foams, which provide a smooth heel-to-toe transition. The upper is made of a soft mesh, and the laces work nicely with fabric overlays in the arch area to provide a snug overall fit. Note: European sizing makes trying it on a must.
Wear-Testers Say: "The fit was snug, but it had plenty of room in the toe box." -Thomas P. Miller, 48, Allentown
"The shoe fit well through the arch, but needed more shock absorption." -Ashley Cunningham, 21, East Lansing

I think these are the best shoes I have ever run in for stability. Ran 8 miles on Saturday-no rubbing or blisters. Run true to size. .
