Runner's World Shoe Lab Test Results

We Say: This update of the Tenos retains the fit and support enjoyed by its fans, but its ride is softer than the previous version. It's also more cushioned than its companion shoe, the Phasis II. Don't expect marshmallows, though; the Tenos is still firm, just not off-the-charts firm like shoes in this line have been. Recommended for heavier runners with normal arches who need a bit more impact protection from a stability shoe.

Wear Tester Reviews

Wear-Testers Say: "It felt good, but could've used a bit more cushioning in the midfoot and forefoot areas, especially during my long runs." -Ed Clayton, 57, East Lansing

"The shoe fit my foot like a glove. The one improvement I'd make: more cushioning in the midfoot." -Andy Thacher, 41, San Diego
