The shoe also features a support bridge that runs under the arch to bolster stability. Runners can expect a stiffer shoe than the 717. In fact, because of its stiffness, this shoe could easily be categorized as a motion-control shoe. But it isn't, because its fit is more appropriate for lighter-weight runners.
