Brooks Vantage 2

Aug 2004 Shoe Guide
We Say: This is one firm shoe. The Vantage has a fit similar to that of the Brooks Adrenaline, which many consider one of the best stability shoes on the market, and is just as stable for about $15 less. The difference: The midsole is less responsive than the Adrenaline, so the ride isn't as good.
Lab Report:The heel and forefoot's fluid-filled cushioning provides excellent shock absorption at footstrike. Our tests showed it's the firmest shoe in this category, giving you the most protection. The plastic footbridge eases transition through toe-off and helps deliver moderate responsiveness.
Recommended For: Cost-conscious runners with normal to flat arches who need stability and cushioning
