Runner's World Awards: Best Update
The latest Supernova Cushion offers an outstanding fit, thanks to the new last used in all the other Adidas shoes in this guide. It's wider through the midfoot, which many testers found comfortable. Also new are two heel plates, found in the midsole, that slide slightly on top of one another to isolate impact forces and slow side-to-side movement. This makes this update slightly more stable. Recommended for runners with normal to high arches looking for a soft shoe with a good midfoot wrap.
"The cushioning and arch fit were excellent." --Lisa Benvenuto, 28, Allentown
"I loved the breathability; a very comfortable shoe." --Tyler Ernst, 21, East Lansing
"I loved that there are no seams." --Dena Criss, 30, East Lansing
"The cushioning and weight are this shoes best features." --Don Kuntzman, 50, Allentown
"The shoe had great ventilation and overall comfort. While I felt great running in the shoe I did feel it could use a little more cushioning." --Meghan DaPaolo, 32, Allentown
"I love the weight of the shoe and the way it feels on my foot. If I could improve one thing it would be the toebox--it needs to be wider." --Christina Bell, 31, East Lansing

This is the best Adidas shoe I have worn. I like the fit, the cushioning and the look. I am a neutral, heavy runner and usually have knee pain after long runs, +10K, but with these shoes I feel great. I just hope the blown rubber in the forefoot last as long as the rest of the shoe. .

I was very excited to try this shoe but after trying to convinvce myself this was the right shoe I had to give in as my heel kept moving around and the tongue was too thin and short as after tying the laces tight the laces were higher than the top of the tongue and hurt the top of my foot and had to unlace them quickly..

I am very particular about my running shoes. All I can say is this is a great shoe. The shoe cushions my run and make me feel as if it is moving me through my stride. I also like how light they feel and the fact that the shoe allows for air to flow into the foot for a great cool feel..
