Runner's World Shoe Lab Test Results

We Say: This new shoe from Fila is built lower to the ground and features a midsole that's filled in under the arch to improve pronation control. The gusseted tongue helps keep out trail debris, and the sausage-link laces are designed to stay tied. Testers liked both the style and the fit of this shoe but felt it needed better traction. RW Shoe Lab tests found the Refuge to be one of the firmest and stiffest shoes in this guide, so we recommend it for bigger runners who want a shoe that will serve them well whether on fire roads or at the coffee shop after a run.
