We Say: This updated classic is an ounce lighter yet features larger gel pads under the heel and forefoot. It also comes with a new supercomfy ankle collar, made of memory foam designed to mold the shoe around the rearfoot. Asics reduced the number of forefoot overlays to decrease blister risk, but added internal bands to maintain structure. We recommend this shoe for runners with high arches looking for a durable lightweight trainer with plenty of cushioning.

These are my first pair of "real" running shoes so i dont have alot to compare them with. They seemed a little stiff at first, but have broken in very nicely. They form around my foot very well, and have lots of cushioning. I had some knee pain with my old new balances, but while running in these shoes i have none!.

These shoes have eliminated my knee and foot pain. I use this shoe daily and couldn?t imagine using anything else. Forget the trendy Nikes... My opinion ;-).

I have put an entire Cross Country season into these shoes and they are still going strong. They are a very comfortable cusioned shoe that can take a beating from roads, rocks, and even muddy rivers..
