Runner's World Shoe Lab Test Results

We Say: The Cushion 6 is a great update with a softer, seven-millimeter-thick sockliner and a layer of foam just below it for a plush feel right out of the box. The new midsole design is built around two plastic heel plates that slow side-to-side movement, which should help reduce overpronation. As with the other two Adidas shoes in this guide, the Cushion is built on a new last. We recommend this shoe for efficient runners with normal to high arches looking for a soft training shoe.

Wear Tester Reviews

I am returning to running after a long layoff so basically starting from scratch. I went to a local shoe store that specializes in proper fitting andfinding the right shoe for the individual. This shoe just felt better than the several others I tried out of the box and have only gotten better. I have been able to increase mileage steadily and my shoes have truly made running fun again. Adidas was not really my first choice, but the improvements they have made are huge. They are much more serious about making a quality product than cranking out a new product to keep up with the fashions. Great shoe, no complaints whatsoever..

I suffer from Achilles Tendonitis and have tried all the shoes, from NB to mizuno to Ascis. This shoe is it. I just ran my 1st half marathon without any issues. Great shoe..
