We Say: Saucony built this update slightly lower to the ground and added more rubber to the forefoot foam, both of which make for a faster feel. As with its sibling, the Trigon Guide, the heel of the Ride comes with ProGrid cushioning, which resembles rows of tiny empty cubes. These cubes compress at heel impact to disperse contact forces without passing them on to the rest of the midsole. The end result is a smoother ride and a more lightweight shoe. We recommend the Ride for runners with high arches looking for plenty of cushioning.
Wear-testers Say: "The cushioning in the Trigon felt softer than other shoes I've tried."--Nathan Usher, 24, East Lansing
"The right amount of room in every part of the shoe."--Tim Lambert, 37, Allentown

The shoe is very comfortable and has a good amount of bounce. After 100 miles, the sole seems to be a little more worn that I would have liked. It is lighter than previous Trigon Ride models, but the jury is out on whether on the durability will be as good. .
