WE SAY: In this outstanding update, two plastic plates in the midsole under the heel spread the force of impact over a wider area (think mattress box spring). This system, seen previously in Adidas's high-end motion-control shoes, provides good impact protection and a bit of added stability. The shoe also features a seamless mesh lining for improved comfort. We recommend the Cushion 6 for average-weight runners with normal to high arches who need a lot of impact protection.
WEAR-TESTERS SAY: "Provided plenty of cushioning and was very breathable."--Dana Stow, 30, Allentown
"An excellent trainer with a fast feel and nice snug fit."--Mark J. Steinberg, 54, East Lansing

I have just under 500 miles on mine and they are handling the abuse well. There is a little wear on the lightweight uppers but otherwise this is a great shoe. Definatly for narrower feet though. .
