Runner's World Shoe Lab Test Results

WE SAY: As with the Hurricane, the Omni comes with the new Progrid cushioning system, designed to improve comfort and disperse heel impact. But the Omni features Progrid only in the heel, where it's most needed. Added memory foam in the sockliner provides a more customized fit. We recommend it for average to heavy runners with normal arches who need a stable trainer. The Omni also comes in a more stable version, the Omni 6 Ultimate.

Wear Tester Reviews

"Great comfort and breathability, but it's a bit wide in the forefoot."--Mike Cantrell, 35, East Lansing

After discovering my pronation problems in 2003, I have been a die hard fan of the Omni Ultimate. The new ProGrid 6 would be perfect but the heel rubs, so now I am forced to venture out and find a new favorite. That is until the new Omni 7 makes it out (I have hope since the Omni 4 was terrible)..

i just bought these to "learn to run" in. they fit really snug. a little wide now that i am moving in them. the heel seems hard when i strike down too, but that may be cause i have never run in my life and i turned 30 this weekend..
