Runner's World Shoe Lab Test Results

WE SAY: As with the Hurricane, the Omni comes with the new Progrid cushioning system, designed to improve comfort and disperse heel impact. But the Omni features Progrid only in the heel, where it's most needed. Added memory foam in the sockliner provides a more customized fit. We recommend it for average to heavy runners with normal arches who need a stable trainer. The Omni also comes in a more stable version, the Omni 6 Ultimate.

After having knee pain, I went for my first visit to a running shoe store. They sold me these plus a full-length off-the-shelf orthotic. While these shoes provide a decent fit, the heel slips a bit, regardless of lacing technique or tightness. My knee pain is gone now that I am using these shoes, but I think I will look for a different shoe next time..

It?s the best shoe that I had have. It?s comfortable and offer me the support that I need. I?m very happy that I buy this model of Saucony. The others shoes that I used before (Nike pegasus), hurt me the foots in long runs. That?s my experience, bye..

I use this for an everyday trainer and it is very comfortable out of the box. The cushioning is excellent and the shoe maintains a high level of comfort even after 12+ miles. Only knock would be that it is not suited very well for speed workouts, but then again it is not built for that. Overall, highly recommended..

Initially, I was hesitant to praise the shoe. However, after three weeks the shoe is really fitting nicely and i am really enjoying it. the shoe has decreased some of the ankle and knee discomfort I would have after my long runs. I would recommend this shoe. .
