We say: Designed on the same platform (foot form) as the Beast and Ariel, the Dyad 4 features some support, but the emphasis is really on cushioning. The proof: Our Shoe Lab tests showed the Dyad to be the softest shoe in the guide. It comes with two midfoot pods on the medial (arch) side and outside of the shoe that support the foot on impact. This helps smooth out heel-to-toe transition. Overlays have been removed so there's less risk of blisters. Recommended for bigger runners with normal arches or those who need room in their shoes for orthotics.
Wear-testers say: "A solid shoe for someone who needs stable cushioning."--Ryan Krafft, 26, East Lansing
"The width was perfect and they were very comfortable."--Gary Akridge, 50, Allentown

When I began running I was fitted for the Dyads based on the fact that I am a little heavier runner. The shoes got me through my first 1/2 marathon with zero issues. I have tried to use other brands over the past few years and just went back to the Dyad. Last few weeks of running have been pain free. Excellent shoe..

This replaced my worn out adrenelines. I have used these shoes for one week and feel a tremendous improvement with foot and knee pain. There is none. So far I love the minipods. .
