We say: The Alchemy's many devotees will be happy to know that the updates to the 6 are subtle and mostly limited to the upper. For example, Mizuno reinforced the material over the arch area with additional upper overlays so the shoe wraps around the midfoot more snugly. The overlays in the forefoot have been repositioned for a better fit. The eye-stay row--where the laces connect to the upper--is now more pliable, which allows the foot to flex more naturally. Recommended for runners with flat to normal arches looking for a stable, dependable shoe.
Wear-testers say: "The shoe was stable but lightweight, and it fit great."--Joe Pulver, 47, East Lansing
"They felt so comfortable."--Naomi Shibata, 49, San Diego

I have flat feet and i charge my courners when i run so the wave alchemy 6 was a great shoe. I put like 10 miles on them and they are still a little stiff but for the most part i liked the shoe..
