We say: The latest Triumph features a new foam cushioning system under the heel that resembles rows of tiny, empty boxes. This design allows the heel to sink into the open space in each box for more customized cushioning--something our testers noticed. The 4 is also built lower to the ground for a faster feel. The upper boasts foam overlays that are bonded to the inside of the arch. This construction is softer than traditional stitched overlays yet adds just as much support. Recommended for runners with high arches who need a durable training shoe.
Wear-testers say: "Great heel cushioning and amazing breathability."--Connie Cantrell, 35, East Lansing
"I loved the smooth transition from heel to toe."--Brian Hendricks, 34, Allentown
