The Inaugural Indianapolis Monumental Marathon and Half Marathon is a fast and relatively flat course that should be a good Boston qualifier. The Indianapolis Monumental Marathon course highlights include: the Indiana State Capitol, the Indianapolis Arts Garden, Lucas Oil Stadium, Historic Monument Circle, the Mass. Avenue District, Butler University and the Indianapolis Museum of Art. Scoring and timing will be performed in-house by our experienced race director Mr. Ken Long of KLA. We will be using the DAG timing chip. We have been using this system with great success for the last 2 years. The chip is attached to the bib number ¿ one single product for timing and identification. The chip is disposable, therefore after crossing the finish line, participants will not have to stop for chip removal. Please note: we are NOT associated with the IndyClassic marathon proposed in 2007.
