Running in the spring in Midway is breathtaking. The mountains and valley are beautiful. The courses of the Homestead races are not PR courses. Comments from runners last year included such phrases as "Brutal", "Kicked my butt", and "Grueling". Interestingly, these same runners also described their experience as "Glorious", "Breathtaking", and "Awesome". Even with the challenge of the courses, smiles abounded.
