WEAR-TESTER PROFILE

Terry Bruns
Stats: 42 years old, 5', 107 lbs.
Arch Type: Low
Miles per Week: 25
Years Running: 25
Home: Allentown, Pennsylvania
Occupation: Teacher
Why do you run? "I was hooked when I started in high school. It keeps me in shape, physically and mentally."
Proudest Running Moment: "I qualified for Boston at the 2006 Philadelphia Marathon. In the middle of that marathon, I was trying to do the math and I was exhausted, and I realized I would qualify. I started to get weepy at mile 20."
Recommended Shoe: The Asics Gel-Foundation 8 will give Terry's low arches the support they need, along with the right amount of cushioning to match her light frame.

Chris Garges
Stats: 33 years old, 5'8", 140 lbs.
Arch Type: Normal
Miles per Week: 45-50
Years Running: 10
Home: Bethlehem, Pennsylvania
Occupation: Zoning officer
Why do you run? "I run basically to stay fit, to push myself, and to enjoy time with fellow runners."
Proudest Running Moment: "I had run with my wife in the 2004 Chicago Marathon to help her qualify for Boston. We then both ran the 2006 race and had absolutely perfect days in Boston. I still remember when we met after the race--we were so proud and happy for each other."
Recommended Shoe: Chris will get good support and a great ride from the Saucony Progrid Omni 7.

Andrea Campian
Stats: 26 years old, 5'7", 125 lbs.
Arch Type: High
Miles per Week: 30
Years Running: 7
Home: East Lansing, Michigan
Occupation: Research scientist
Why do you run? "What I love most about running is seeing what you can accomplish if you want to, which is why I think I got addicted to distance running."
Proudest Running Moment: "I've had asthma my whole life, and the day I ran my first mile without stopping was the most amazing accomplishment ever."
Recommended Shoe: The Nike Vomero 3 provides the impact protection Andrea needs without the added support her high arches don't.
