LANDICE L7 CARDIO TREADMILL

With the longest warranty of all the treadmills here, the Landice is built for abuse

PUBLISHED 12/11/2006

We say: Sporting a superstrong aluminum frame and a thick, one-inch belt, this durable, no-frills running machine is built for abuse, especially when you consider that it's backed up by the best warranty (lifetime on all parts) of any treadmill here. But, like the tax code, the L7 is as complicated as it is tenacious. We didn't like how difficult the small console makes program selection and midrun setting adjustments. While the treadmill offers only five preprogrammed workouts, the heart-rate programs automatically change speed and elevation to help you target a constant pulse throughout your workout.
Our tester says: "The deck felt smooth and had a fair amount of cushioning, but the console could use some improvements." --Abby Urnovitz, 20
