GARMIN FORERUNNER 305

Track every mile you run with this trusted training tool

By Christine Fennessy
Photographs by Bill Diodato

PUBLISHED 08/30/2006

The 305 is half the size of past Forerunners, with a customizable display, a more comfortable heart-rate monitor, and the ability to load past workouts to let you compete against yourself. One tester loved how easy it was to set up mile split alerts but hated waiting 30 seconds for the GPS to find satellites.
