Tour Guide: Paula Carroll, President-Elect of the Mid-Pacific Road Runners Club

Run 1: Diamond Head (4.8 miles):
From Kapiolani Park, follow Kalakaua Avenue south to Diamond Head Road, which climbs along the crater and becomes Kahala Avenue. At Fort Ruger Park, turn left on Paikau Street. Bear right on Diamond Head Road, which turns into Monsarrat Avenue, and return to the start.

Run 2: Ala Moana Park (3 miles): From the parking lot on Magic Island, follow the paved path around the perimeter of the peninsula. Turn left on Ala Moana Park Drive. Turn right on Ala Moana Boulevard, a section of the Honolulu Marathon course. Turn right again on Ala Moana Park Drive and return to the start on Magic Island.

Run 3: Tantalus Drive (8.2 miles): From Makiki Street, run north on Makiki Heights Drive. Turn right on Tantalus Drive, and follow it as it climbs up the mountain. Turn around at Forest Ridge Way and return to the start. A lower portion of Round Top Drive is closed for construction, so you can't take Round Top Drive back to the start.
